How do I solve Find and Fill Puzzles?
The Find and Fill puzzles are solved by filling all the spaces that make up a single image in one color, and not filling any other spaces with that color. As you progress through the levels, these puzzles get harder by adding more shapes, more complex shapes, and shapes in the wrong size or orientation. The whole puzzle itself may spin or be drawn on a rotating cylinder. Some small areas are colored white for you -- you do not need to fill these areas, but there is no penalty for filling them.
If possible, try to get one of the central shapes early. This will make all the other shapes easier. If that looks too hard to do, work in from the edges. Refer to the reference drawing at the side to see the shapes that you are looking for if you get stuck. The reference images may be able to scroll up and down.
It will often give you an advantage to try and fill a shape in one color as well as you can, and then switch to another color to finish a different shape. The outline of the first shape will help you find the outline of the second.
Be sure to trace along the outline of the shape, looking for any small regions that you might have missed at first. If a region seems ambiguous, you can add it and subtract it by left clicking.
On the later rotating cylinder versions, be sure to use more than one color. Start at the leading edge of the puzzle, and work on one shape. Switch to a second color to work on a shape further in the puzzle. Always work from the leading edge of each shape backwards to save time.
