How do I solve Focus Point Puzzles?

  • You solve Focus Point Puzzles by swapping pieces until all the pieces are in the correct, original locations.  The pieces are automatically stretched and distorted to fit the new spaces in which they are placed.

Many of the pictures have a sky area at the top.  It is a good idea in these puzzles to put all the sky pieces at the top.  Once you have a pair of pieces that match, you can build outward from them.  Be careful, sometimes a pair of pieces will match, but will be in the wrong place or at the wrong scale.  For example, if there are two small squares side by side on the left of the picture, and two larger squares side by side on the right of the picture, you may get the pieces that belong in the large squares in the small squares by mistake.  These pieces will still match.

Try toggling the grid on and off as you work through the puzzle.  It helps to have the grid off to match the edges of the pieces properly.  Having the grid on will help you to find the pieces themselves.

Be sure to look at how sharp or fuzzy the image in each piece is.  Sharp pieces may need to be moved to larger locations, and pieces that are too fuzzy need to move to smaller locations.  The same is true for distorted pieces -- ones that are stretched vertically need to be moved to a location that is shorter and wider.
