How do I solve Overlap Puzzles?
To solve the Overlap Puzzles, you must move all the pieces to the proper location, in the proper orientation. Some of the pieces come with an extra square, showing part of the radiating line pattern of the background. If you are up against a tough puzzle, place all of these pieces into the puzzle first. You can tell by the angle of the line in the piece which of the radiating lines the piece belongs on, and by the color of the band you can find the approximate distance out. When the extra square disappears against the background, you know you have the right spot.
After that, Overlap puzzles are much like jigsaw puzzles, however you must match the patterns instead of the shapes. Also, some pieces do overlap, as the name suggests.
