Where is everyone?
1 of 8: They're around, but you'll have to go find them; you're at the deserted end of town here.
2 of 8: This is easier than it looks. For one thing, those gaps in the walkway look impassable --
3 of 8: -- but they're not. Ann will just jump over some of them.
4 of 8: In other places, you have to do what my dad called TV --
5 of 8: -- that is, Think Vertical. When you can't go backward, forward, right, or left, try going up or down.
6 of 8: Finally, look for something you can use to make an inventory item more useful.
7 of 8: Like a stick that can turn your shard of glass into a spear.
8 of 8: Eventually you'll find someone you can talk to, and things will start to happen again.
