How do I get the elevator working?
1 of 4: The reason the elevator isn't working is that the car is suspended overhead and tied in place with a rope, which you can see on the right side of the scene with the plunger. Pity you don't still have that shard of glass; you could cut the rope.
2 of 4: It might be faster to just burn through the rope. But you'll need an accelerant to help it burn.
3 of 4: The broken lantern has some fuel in it, even though you can't see it.
4 of 4: Use the lantern on the rope, then use the lighter on it.
