How do I get past these frog things in the sand?
1 of 5: You'll find details about these things in the Ann Smith book in your inventory.
2 of 5: These are palmettes, and the raptor flying overhead is a palmette falcon. Notice that when the falcon passes by, the palmettes who are touched by the shadow dive under the sand for a moment. That's helpful.
3 of 5: Wait for the falcon to go by, then run across the sand where the palmettes used to be. They'll pop back up in a second in the same place, but if you're far enough past them you'll be fine.
4 of 5: Wait for the falcon to fly over again and repeat until you reach the bottom of the screen. Here, kick twice at the large dead tree at the left to give yourself an exit.
5 of 5: And then you come to another sand patch and have to do it all over again, sigh. Use the same tactics to get past these guys.
