Is there anything in the inventory I need to notice?
1 of 4: The book by Ann Smith is full of information about Mauranian animals, much of which you'll need to know. The eating habits of the gardener pig and the sand moller are particularly interesting, though not too useful --
2 of 4: -- and you'll meet a lot of the other animals on your journey. Glance at all of them, then come back to the book when you run into one of them.
3 of 4: Of the other stuff, the library card looks really important, with that long number on it --
4 of 4: -- but it isn't, so you don't need to write down the number. And the map is utterly useless, so don't bother trying to draw it.
