What does this key open?
1 of 7: The key opens the iron gate you can see at the upper end of the other room. (The side door is now unlocked, but it leads to the prince's apartment, and you can't get in there yet.)
2 of 7: But you can't use the key because it's too dark; you can't see the keyhole.
3 of 7: You need to light the lamp over the door, for which you'll need a source of ignition.
4 of 7: Look around this room. Do you see anything you can pick up?
5 of 7: Look for a zoom-in spot on the bookcase to the right of the door. There you'll find two things you can take --
6 of 7: -- a flask of oil and a cigarette lighter. Take them!
7 of 7: And don't bother trying to use the oil on the lamp; it's not necessary, and you'll need it later for something else. Just use the lighter on the lamp, then use the key on the lock.
