Passage: Path of Betrayal Hints
How can I get beyond the floor trap?
of 14: Did you look at the tiles on the floor?
of 14: The grid is four squares wide by four squares high. Each tile has a symbol on it. Look at each one.
of 14: Asking the owl about it after you have looked will give you a clue.
of 14: He thinks the symbols might be from a different language.
of 14: One of the Library books concerns an alphabet.
of 14: Find the book on the Jiklaps' language.
of 14: That book is in Case 1, Shelf 6, Book 2 and is black in color.
of 14: Translate the symbols into letters.
of 14: The designs on the blocks are 2 vertical bars, an upside down arch, a horizontal line, a triangle and an X. Each one represents different letter.
of 14: You will be taking four steps over the trap, one in each row. Since each step (block) represents one letter, spell a four-letter word as you step.
of 14: What supposedly lives in this cave?
of 14: Spell the word GRIT by actioning one block in each row.
of 14: Look at each block before you "action" it to be sure you've picked the right one.
of 14: If you are having trouble choosing the blocks, the answer is in the illustration below.
