Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Hints
General Courtroom Advice
In the courtroom, Phoenix is on trial as much as his client. Your actions are being watched by your opposing attorney, be it Payne, Edgeworth, or Von Karma, as well as by the Judge. You have five exclamation points (akin to extra lives), and each time you present a wrong piece of evidence or annoy the Judge enough, he will penalize you, removing one of these exclamation points. If you use them all, your client is automatically found guilty and you must load a saved game. If you are having trouble getting past a particular testimony, press the character on all of their statements one by one and note their answers, you will often get extra clues and pieces of information to help you along the way. Save your game often, and try out different dialogue choices and objecting at various times, there are a lot of extra pieces of dialogue hidden in the courtroom scenes.
