What should I do once I get back into the Chief's Office?

  • 1 of 16: First thing first, Gumshoe has followed you in here, so have a word with him first.
  • 2 of 16: We're suspecting Gant may be up to wrongdoings... so we need to be careful in here!
  • 3 of 16: First things first, there is a safe on the back wall at the right of the organ.
  • 4 of 16: Gumshoe won't let you take what's inside the safe until you can prove it is relevant.
  • 5 of 16: First, show Gumshoe the Unstable Jar to prove the piece of pottery inside the safe is relevant.
  • 6 of 16: You will then need to place the piece onto the jar you assembled earlier.
  • 7 of 16: The piece needs rotating twice (in either direction).
  • 8 of 16: We still need to prove the relevance of the piece of cloth.
  • 9 of 16: It has a handprint on it... which means it has fingerprints on it.
  • 10 of 16: Show Gumshoe your fingerprinting kit, and he will let you use it on the cloth.
  • 11 of 16: The middle finger is the best bet.
  • 12 of 16: I'll tell you whom the prints belong to below, but it's really best to figure it out on your own, as it will come as something of a shock.
  • 13 of 16: Once you know, the cloth will be added to your Court Record.
