1 of 8: There's no way he'd give you the phone without some kind of official request.
2 of 8: Or, failing that, at least indication that it is relevant to the case.
3 of 8: Show him Maya's memo, which you should have been given when you asked her about her cell phone.
4 of 8: We will have the option of whether to come clean about why we want it (the conversation recorded on it), or be a little devious.
5 of 8: This guy seems like he could be easily persuaded, so choose to "Tell him not-so-straight."
