Case Introduction
As case three unfolds, we see two ancient Japanese warriors, identified as the Steel Samurai and the Evil Magistrate, dueling on a moon-lit field late at night. Maya's favorite show, The Steel Samurai, is on, and Maya is an avid fan. Fast-forward to the next morning, and Phoenix receives a frantic phone call from Maya, who says the Steel Samurai has been arrested for murdering a villain. Seems the actor who plays the samurai, Will Powers, was arrested on suspicion of murder, and to add an ironic twist, the victim was his on-screen enemy, Jack Hammer, who plays The Evil Magistrate! His body was found still inside his costume, and the trademark weapon from the show, the Samurai Spear, was found through his body. Right then, the phone rings: it's Will Powers! He wants us to defend him, and so our newest case begins.
