Full Case Synopsis
1 of 2: This section details the actual crime, and so, contains spoilers. Read this only after you've finished the case!
2 of 2: Five years ago, an accident occurred while Dee Vasquez was producing a scene Jack Hammer starred in. Jack Hammer was fighting a villain in a scene, and accidentally shoved him from a ledge onto a metal spike on the fence next to the Studio Two trailer. Oldbag took a photograph of the scene, but she kept it to herself because of her love for Jack Hammer; showing the photo to the press would hurt her idol. Dee Vasquez blackmailed Jack Hammer with the information about this accidental killing, and his career plummeted as a result. Five years later, Hammer had been reduced to playing the villain on a children's TV show. Hammer decided on a plan to get some revenge on the man stealing his thunder, Will Powers, as well as end the years of intimidation at the hands of Dee Vasquez and her gang of hoodlums. He drugged Will Powers, stole his costume, and faked his twisted ankle in order to fool everybody into thinking he was heading to Studio Two. After heading there, he intended to stab Dee Vasquez, and in an act of self-defense, she pushed him from the stairs onto the fence, skewering him through the chest. After this happened, she panicked, and enlisted Sal Manella's help in driving the body to Studio One, putting it into the Evil Magistrate's costume (also, coincidentally, in order to frame Will Powers), and leaving it in Studio One.
