What do I have to do today?
1 of 6: Wander around and talk to everyone.
2 of 6: Will Powers will give you a conference ticket once you've been to the Hallway and you've finished Talking with him. Then you can go to the Hotel Lobby.
3 of 6: After you've seen Wendy Oldbag, you can talk to Gumshoe back in the Hallway. (You don't have to Talk to Oldbag.)
4 of 6: You need to Present something to Gumshoe in order to finish Talking with him.
5 of 6: Present Matt Engarde's profile to Gumshoe.
6 of 6: Once you've finished Talking with Gumshoe, you can return to the Hotel Lobby to finish Talking with Will Powers; then the day will end.
