How do I contradict Oldbag's testimony?

  • 1 of 9: Make sure you've read the General Hints on Contradicting Testimony.
  • 2 of 9: Try Pressing everything.  (There's no penalty.)
  • 3 of 9: You can choose how to delve when you Press Statement 5: "It was Engarde.  Matt Engarde.  He was trying to sneak his way out of Juan's room!"
  • 4 of 9: After you Press Statement 5, ask about the person's clothes, and say that it is important, Oldbag will amend her testimony.
  • 5 of 9: You can contradict the new statement.
  • 6 of 9: Think about the evidence incriminating Engarde.
  • 7 of 9: It's something involving Engarde's clothing.
  • 8 of 9: Focus on the new evidence that Gumshoe provided.
  • 9 of 9: The Jammin' Ninja's Button was found in Engarde's "hakama."  It wouldn't be found there if Engarde had killed Corrida while wearing the racing jacket.  Present the Jammin' Ninja's Button.
