Melissa's Second Testimony: Running From The Crime

  • 1 of 18: You need to pay close attention to what Melissa says about moving the body here.
  • 2 of 18: Remember what we know about Eagle River.
  • 3 of 18: Particularly, about how fast the water flows down it.
  • 4 of 18: If something were to fall into it, from the bridge above... it would very quickly be swept away by the current.
  • 5 of 18: This would certainly be an easy way to dispose of a murdered corpse.
  • 6 of 18: However, Melissa has said that she believes he carried the body away in order to dispose of it.
  • 7 of 18: This certainly seems unlikely, doesn't it?
  • 8 of 18: Present some evidence showing the river to the statement about carrying the body away.
  • 9 of 18: Present the Dusky Bridge Map.
  • 10 of 18: Melissa will now append one further line of testimony.
  • 11 of 18: It relates to the killer hiding the body in the trunk of the car, and it's this statement that we need to object to.

  • 15 of 18: If she was at that point... could she have even SEEN the car?
  • 16 of 18: The answer is no, she could not have seen that.
