How do I set the voltage?
of 13: Voltage is shown across the top. The shapes match the colored shapes on the generators.
of 13: Circle = Submarine, Triangle = Windmill, Square = Water Wheel (Beach)
of 13: From the diagram, you know what wattage and amperage you need. Read the electricity section on your laptop to figure out voltage.
of 13: P = V*I; i.e., Power (watts) = V (volts) * I (amps)
of 13: From the diagram, we need 5,000,000 watts and 125 amps, for a voltage of 40,000.
of 13: You need to set the three generators so their TOTAL voltage is 40,000.
of 13: Start with the submarine generator, because its gauge isn't broken.
of 13: Each generator has one side set to 1000 turns, and gives the corresponding voltage, which is different for each generator. You need to set the number of turns on the other side, and figure out what the voltage will be. There are only three possible settings for each generator.
of 13: If 1000 turns = 1520 volts, then 2000 (2*1000) turns = 3040 (2*1520) volts.
of 13: If you really want me to just tell you, keep going.
of 13: Set the submarine generator to 5000 turns = 7600 volts.
of 13: Set the windmill generator to 4000 turns = 22,000 volts.
of 13: Set the water wheel generator to 8000 turns = 10,400 volts.
