Starting Pokemon: How to get 'em all (Red/Blue)
Besides trading, you can win them in Pokemon Stadium. This is actually the best to do, since it is hard to find someone who will trade them away. It is said that you can catch the rest in the wild if you didn't choose Squirtle as your starting Pokemon, but it is merely a rumor. It is not possible. You can, however, get them in Pokemon Yellow.
