How do I catch a Pokemon without damaging it?
1 of 2: WARNING -- the next hint contains a cheat code. Do not read ahead if you don't want to use it.
2 of 2: To make sure that you catch a Pokemon, press Down and B as soon as the Pokemon appears on screen, and then release once the Poke Ball re-appears. It requires good timing and works best with Ultra Balls. Normal Poke Balls and Great Balls will work too, but it will not work on Pokemon that have reached a certain level. It will not work with Safari Balls, nor will it work if you miss the Pokemon. I have used this to catch a Tauros using the Safari Zone Code. If this doesn't work, try Up + B instead of Down + B. Sometimes, this works better.
