How do I get 129 of any item? (Red/Blue)
1 of 2: WARNING -- the next hint contains a cheat code. Do not read ahead if you don't want to use it.
2 of 2: To perform this code, you must have a Pokemon who can SURF, and another one who knows how to FLY. Talk to the man in Viridian City, and answer NO to his question. Once he is done talking, FLY to Cinnabar Island. Go right until you stand directly next to the water. Now, SURF up and down along the coast. Eventually, you will meet a MissingNo. or 'M. You can tell without looking at the name, because the screen will go blank for a longer period than normal. Defeat it, or run away, but don't capture it. You will now have 129 of item no. 6 on the list. Beware, though, as you may meet Pokemon with levels above 100, such as a level 164 Aerodactyl. Note: Your Hall of Fame will be ruined forever if you perform this cheat! However, you can still use your game with Pokemon Stadium.
