Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Hints
What do I do in the open area with the switch shown in a cut-scene?
of 24: You're back in the past and right where you want to be. This is the same room the Prince commented on as "right place, wrong time" when you arrived in the present. Now that you're at the "right place, right time," it's time for you to fulfill your objective.
of 24: You have to activate the tower. The key is to turn the switch you saw in the cut-scene.
of 24: Defeat the enemies in this area and explore a bit. Look around carefully.
of 24: There are a few important things here. First, notice the grating on the ground covering small conduit. You've seen this before.
of 24: Next, notice the four pillars in the room. Each of them has a long spout on it with a groove in it.
of 24: Perhaps these could channel the water from the aqueduct.
of 24: Finally, you'll see a switch in the center of the area. Experiment with it. For the remainder of this area, consider the switch you saw in the cut-scene to be located at 12:00 (because the cut-scene switch is shown at the 12:00 position from the landscape camera).
of 24: There doesn't seem to be anything to do from the ground. You have to get to higher ground. Maybe the pillars can help.
of 24: Check out the pillar to the top-left of the center switch (from the view of the landscape camera). There's a block by it. Maybe you could use it...but you can't run up the pillar as it is.
