Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Hints
Soldiers
1 of 4: Soldier enemies are those who use swords, axes, and maces against you at a short range. They'll usually circle you or charge at you, unleashing combos of varying lengths. See your combo list (pause the game and select combo list, or in the instruction manual) for techniques to use against them.
2 of 4: Usually, the best strategy against Soldiers is to block until they finish their combos, then unleash a combo of your own. Another effective technique is to jump over the enemy and attack it from behind.
3 of 4: If many Soldiers gang up on you (as is often the case), try to spread them out by using wall-running techniques and single-weapon techniques such as grabs and throws. Also consider using Slow Time or other time-distortion techniques.
4 of 4: If you're being overwhelmed by Soldiers, roll/dodge away from them and look for a wall, pole, or secondary weapon so that you can use an attack that damages multiple enemies at once. These are often the most effective against groups of Soldiers.
