Beasts
1 of 4: Beasts are the most varied group of enemies in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Some simply attack with claws, some launch projectiles, some even explode upon death.
2 of 4: With each beast, guard and examine its behavior. Also watch its behavior as you attack it, as it may change.
3 of 4: Some dog-like beasts, for example, burst into flame when they take enough damage. From that point on, they'll try to position themselves close to you so they can harm you when they explode. Dodge to keep your distance.
4 of 4: Most beasts have a tendency to charge at you from a distance. Beware of this -- just because you're far away doesn't mean you're safe.
