Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Hints
First Life Upgrade
1 of 13: You can first get access to the First Life Upgrade when you enter the past version of the room where you first confronted the Bird Creature.
2 of 13: Normally, from this room, you'd usually run straight through the door ahead of you (leading to the fortress). If you want to get the Life Upgrade, though, you'll have to find another path.
3 of 13: It's the same path you took in the past.
4 of 13: Before entering the doorway (leading to a hallway of traps), turn left, run up the wall, run up the next wall, and jump onto the balcony over the doorway.
5 of 13: Run across the left wall until you get to the platform on the other side. Kill the enemies.
6 of 13: Search this area. The big door at the top leads back to the room with the button and curtain. There's somewhere else to go, though.
7 of 13: On the wall with the button to open the big door is a small hole near the bottom. It's blocked by a gate.
8 of 13: You have to get through that hole. Find a way to open the gate.
9 of 13: At the bottom of the staircase, there's a button hidden behind barrels and pots. Press it. The gate on the hole opens.
10 of 13: Now move quickly, for the gate will close very, very soon.
11 of 13: From the button, jump over the staircase railing onto the stairs. Run up the left wall of the staircase (you'll run a lot faster), then, at the top, make a break for the hole. If you make it on time, roll through it.
12 of 13: If you come back later with Eye of the Storm, this is a lot easier.
13 of 13: Once through the hole, pass the traps (be careful, traps leading to Life Upgrades are incredibly dangerous), and approach the Life Upgrade on the far wall.
