Ninth Life Upgrade

  • 1 of 11: In order to access the Ninth Life Upgrade, you have to have a sword that can break walls, namely the Serpent Sword.
  • 2 of 11: You have to backtrack to the room where Shahdee escaped through a door and you had to climb to a bar-switch to get it open.
  • 3 of 11: Climb all the way up until the platform just before you reach the bar-switch that opened the door.
  • 4 of 11: Notice anything about the gate here?
  • 5 of 11: You can break it with your sword now.  Hold down the Primary Attack button to break it.
  • 6 of 11: There's a block in here.  How can you use it?
  • 7 of 11: Go back out to the platform and take a look around.  Notice anything?
  • 8 of 11: There's a hole in the ceiling here!
  • 9 of 11: Drag the block out and push it up against the back wall.  Climb on it, run up the wall, and wall-jump back and forth to get through the hole.
  • 10 of 11: Run up the wall to hit the button and use Slow Time to get through the door before it closes.
  • 11 of 11: Run through the hallway, avoiding the traps, to get the Ninth and final Life Upgrade.
