Activating Time Portals

  • 1 of 5: In the course of the game, you'll come across many Time Portals you'll have to activate in order to travel between the past and present.  In order to activate the Time Portals, you have to activate the four switches on the four nearby columns in the proper (and randomly generated) order.
  • 2 of 5: To activate a switch, wall run up a column so that you step on the switch.
  • 3 of 5: If you've activated the correct switch, it will light up and remain lit.
  • 4 of 5: Continue to activate switches.  If you activate the switches in the wrong order, all of them will be deactivated and you'll have to start from the beginning.
  • 5 of 5: It's all trial-and-error.  After you find the first switch, keep it in mind as you search for the second.  The Time Portal will be activated as soon as all four switches are activated in the proper order.  If they are, they'll all be lit.  After a few seconds, the Time Portal should be activated.  Step into the swirling sands to travel through time.
