How can I get past the glass wall?
  • 1 of 14: Remember what the force field above the wall will and won't disintegrate.
  • 2 of 14: In particular, it won't disintegrate you or your portal gun.
  • 3 of 14: It will stop your portals, though, so you'll have to find a way to propel yourself over the glass wall.
  • 4 of 14: Look up at the ceiling on your side of the force field.
  • 5 of 14: You see that extended wall section up there?
  • 6 of 14: Use it like you did the ones back in previous test chambers where you needed to propel yourself along.
  • 7 of 14: Fire an orange portal at the extended wall section, then think of a way to gain some momentum for coming out through the portal.
  • 8 of 14: Since there's no way apparent, why not put a blue portal on the wall or floor somewhere and go through it?
  • 9 of 14: Notice where you land on the floor after coming out of the orange portal.
  • 10 of 14: What if your blue portal was there?
  • 11 of 14: After landing, look straight down at the floor and fire a blue portal. (You could do this right before landing, but it's harder.)
  • 12 of 14: You'll fall through it and then come out through the orange portal.
  • 13 of 14: If you hit the floor again, repeat the process of firing a blue portal down at your feet.
  • 14 of 14: You should soon get a blue portal to where you'll hit it again after going through the orange portal, which will send you through the orange portal again with enough momentum to hurl you through the force field.
