The Orange Box: Portal Hints

Chapter 6: Testchamber 14

  • 1 of 7: As you move into Chamber 14, you'll find the exit elevator directly ahead of you and out of reach, plus a button-opened door off to the right.
  • 2 of 7: Past the door, you'll soon come to a spot where two platforms move up and down over a toxic floor.
  • 3 of 7: You could easily use portals to get across, but as you'll find out soon, it's handy to be able to cross this hazard without using portals.
  • 4 of 7: The room past the toxic hallway just has an energy orb bouncing back and forth in it.
  • 5 of 7: After the orb is in the receptor, go through the portal to drop down to the receptor yourself.
  • 6 of 7: Then head down the stairs and over to where the lift in front of the exit elevator has lowered.
  • 7 of 7: Get on it and ride it up, then enter the elevator to be taken to Chapter 7: Testchamber 15.
