The Orange Box: Portal Hints
I made it to a safe ledge, but how can I move on from here?
1 of 7: Look across from the railing and up.
2 of 7: You see that ledge with a bunch of pipes? That's where you need to go.
3 of 7: Naturally, it would make itself difficult by having a metal ceiling.
4 of 7: So you're apparently going to have to pull the monotonous old momentum gag on it.
5 of 7: Looking up the back wall of your ledge, you'll see that you can place a portal way up near the top.
6 of 7: Shoot an orange one up there, then fire a blue one onto the floor next to the railing.
7 of 7: Dropping into that blue portal should get you thrown out of the orange portal and back into the blue one, which will catapult you over to the pipe ledge.
