The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I move on from the fan room?
1 of 6: By portaling into a new area.
2 of 6: The only possibility is to portal to a spot behind one of the fans.
3 of 6: Pick a fan, any fan. The passages behind them both lead to the same area.
4 of 6: Toss orange portals at a fan until one makes it through the blades and forms on the wall behind it.
5 of 6: Then go back to the room with the padlocked fence door and step through the blue portal that should still be there. (Or make a new one somewhere.)
6 of 6: Step through slowly, since you can get caught in the fan blades and killed if you're not careful.
