The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I move on from this room?
1 of 13: Try going over to the other side of the room.
2 of 13: You'll find a concrete wall with the words "over here" written on it.
3 of 13: To the right of that is a crouch-only opening, but it just leads to another useless hideout room.
4 of 13: The words have an up arrow painted near them, so look up.
5 of 13: You need to get up to that partly broken metal walkway that's directly above you.
6 of 13: The only way to do that is to portal-fling yourself up there from the other side of the room.
7 of 13: Look at what's in the wall directly across from the start of the broken-off walkway.
8 of 13: It's the open hatch you came out through.
9 of 13: It's angled upward and toward the walkway, so I think you know where to put your orange portal now.
10 of 13: Back up to where you can fire it at the top part of the open hatch door.
11 of 13: Then get onto some concrete flooring and fire a blue portal down at your feet.
12 of 13: If you land on the floor again, repeat the blue-portal-firing-at-your-feet routine until you get flung across to the walkway.
13 of 13: Go along the walkway and through an open door to leave the room.
