The Orange Box: Portal Hints
The Flingy Strategy
1 of 13: Set the companion sphere in a corner and make sure it won't roll away, then look around for a way to get past the glass wall.
2 of 13: There's a fairly large window in it that you could fit through.
3 of 13: And the wall opposite the window is concrete.
4 of 13: Yes, you're going to have to do a momentum-fling to get yourself through the window.
5 of 13: Put an orange portal at the very top center of the concrete wall, then fire a blue portal into the floor of the pit.
6 of 13: Drop into the blue portal to be thrown out of the orange one and toward the glass wall's window.
7 of 13: In order to get through the window, you'll have to lean on the "Move forward" key as you approach it.
8 of 13: Now you'll have to figure out a way to get your companion sphere over there with you.
9 of 13: Notice that the floor you're on is made of concrete.
10 of 13: Put a blue portal on the floor and drop gently through it.
11 of 13: Relocate the orange portal to a nearby wall, then pick up your sphere and walk through the orange portal.
12 of 13: Fire an orange portal onto the concrete wall to the right of the nearby doorway, then drop through the blue portal while carrying your sphere.
13 of 13: You'll find yourself next to the hallway that leads to the exit area.
