The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get the cube to that button?
1 of 6: While standing in a safe spot in the button room, put an orange portal into either of the room's concrete walls.
2 of 6: Pick up the storage cube and carefully push it through the portal and set it down to the side so it'll be on the ledge that the blue portal is on.
3 of 6: Hop through the portal to land on the ledge, then move around on it until you can see the extended wall section that's above the button-opened door.
4 of 6: Put the orange portal back onto the rightmost part of that wall section, then drop the cube gently through the blue portal.
5 of 6: Drop yourself gently into the blue portal, and lean on the "Move backward" key to make sure you land on the door's platform.
6 of 6: Pick up the cube and drop down through the blue portal while carrying it so that you and it will be flung over to the button ledge. It's kind of hard to do this without dropping the cube, so save first and keep trying until you make it.
