The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get to the exit elevator?
1 of 10: After the platform is going, think about how you might be able to drop down onto it.
2 of 10: To start with, you'll need to get over to the small platform that's next to the orange portal.
3 of 10: Just fire a blue portal onto the floor and drop through it.
4 of 10: Note that you'll have to move back onto the concrete flooring rather than trying to open a portal on the mesh flooring.
5 of 10: Once you're next to the orange portal, look along the ceiling over the platform's route.
6 of 10: As before, the only bit of concrete ceiling is directly over the spot where the platform is the farthest away from the elevator.
7 of 10: You could open a portal in the ceiling and then drop onto the moving platform when it's under you.
8 of 10: But it's a bit easier to open the portal in the wall and just step onto the platform when it arrives.
9 of 10: Either way, it's best to watch the platform through the orange portal rather than by looking across the room.
10 of 10: Get on the platform and ride it across to where you can get off on some mesh flooring next to the elevator.
