The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get a cube to the button?
1 of 9: Not by trying to push or pull it through the force field.
2 of 9: You'll have to take it through a portal and into the room beyond.
3 of 9: First, find the orange portal opening.
4 of 9: It's in the wall next to a raised platform to the left of the cube tube.
5 of 9: Shoot a blue portal onto the floor directly under the cube to get it to drop onto the platform next to the orange portal.
6 of 9: Use the same portal to get onto that platform, then see about opening a portal in the room past the force field.
7 of 9: You can look into that room through the large opening in the wall that's above the force field.
8 of 9: Toss a portal through that opening, then take your cube through the orange portal.
9 of 9: You can now drop the cube onto the button to open the nearby door.
