How can I get to the area past that door?
1 of 6: Think about it. What good is opening the door briefly if there's no way you can go through it?
2 of 6: Just because you can't go through it doesn't mean you can't shoot something through it.
3 of 6: How about a blue portal?
4 of 6: Open the door and fire a blue portal through it.
5 of 6: Then wait for the rotating portal gun to open an orange portal near you.
6 of 6: Now you can go through the orange portal to reach the room past the button-opened door.
