The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I leave this chamber once I have the upgrade?
1 of 9: You'll need to create orange and blue portals to help you escape.
2 of 9: You'll also need to use the red button that's on the pedestal near where you got the portal gun upgrade.
3 of 9: Using it will briefly open up the door that's high on the wall you're facing.
4 of 9: So do like you did before with a similar far-away door.
5 of 9: Open the door and fire a portal (of either color) through it before it can close again.
6 of 9: Now you need to create and go through a portal of the other color.
7 of 9: Fire the other color of portal into the wall that the moving platform goes to, then ride over to it.
8 of 9: Now you can go through that portal to reach the room beyond the high-up door.
9 of 9: In it, you'll find the elevator that'll take you up to the next chamber.
