The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get the cube in there without closing off my only access?
1 of 4: Via portals, of course.
2 of 4: While looking through the open door, fire a blue portal so that it forms near the bottom of the large room's back wall.
3 of 4: Then drop down into the starting room and fire an orange portal at any nearby wall.
4 of 4: Now you can pick up your cube and carry it through the orange portal, and the fact that the door on the upper walkway closes is no problem.
