The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get that cube down to the floor?
1 of 7: The walls all along the moving platform's path are anti-portal metal, so check the ceiling.
2 of 7: There's a section of ceiling about halfway down the platform's path that's concrete, and therefore portal-friendly.
3 of 7: So fire a blue portal up at that ceiling so that it's directly above the platform's path.
4 of 7: Then fire an orange portal into a wall or floor.
5 of 7: Stand next to the orange portal and watch the platform.
6 of 7: When it's beneath you, drop through the orange portal and onto it.
7 of 7: Then grab the cube and drop down to the floor.
