The Orange Box: Portal Hints
Exactly how can I do that?
1 of 6: Put a blue portal about halfway down the wall on either side of the main room, at about the same height as the small room you're going for.
2 of 6: Put an orange portal into a wall near you, then look through it.
3 of 6: Can you see any part of one of the two concrete side walls that's in the small room? If not, try repositioning your blue portal to give you a better angle into that room.
4 of 6: Once you can see concrete, crouch-walk very slowly into the orange portal while pointing your targeting crosshair directly at the concrete.
5 of 6: As soon as your portal gun's orange indicator colors in, fire an orange portal at the concrete wall.
6 of 6: Then turn around and move forward to enter the small room.
