The Orange Box: Portal Hints
Chamber 14 with Least Portals
1 of 8: It's not only possible, but also fairly easy, to do this chamber using only two portals.
2 of 8: Move forward to the raised lift that's next to the exit elevator.
3 of 8: Fire an orange portal onto the floor right next to the lift, then turn left and go for the stairs.
4 of 8: Wait at the top of the stairs for them to fully descend, then fire a blue portal onto the lower floor.
5 of 8: While facing forward (toward the lift and not down), drop into the portal on the lower floor.
6 of 8: You'll come flying up out of the portal that you set near the lift.
7 of 8: When you do, lean on the "Move backward" key to help make sure you land on the raised lift. (Or if you keep getting turned around for some reason, lean on the "Move forward" key instead.)
8 of 8: After that, you can enter the elevator and finish the challenge with the best possible score!
