Portal 2 Hints
How can I get to the storage cube?
1 of 10: It seems impossible at first, since it's in a little closed-off room.
2 of 10: However, remember the whole purpose of portals -- to go places you couldn't otherwise go.
3 of 10: Notice that the orange portal is on the wall next to where you dropped down, but it's all cloudy since there's no blue portal open anywhere.
4 of 10: Look around the chamber to find that there are three small glass-walled rooms that you can't get into.
5 of 10: There are also three small pedestals with large red buttons on them, one next to each glass-walled room.
6 of 10: Try pressing the button on any pedestal to see what happens.
7 of 10: Doing that will open a blue portal somewhere inside the room that the pedestal is next to.
8 of 10: You can then go through the orange portal to enter that room.
9 of 10: Examine the rooms through the glass walls (or by entering each one) until you find which one has the exit door, which one has the big red button, and which one has the storage cube in it.
10 of 10: Press the button on the pedestal next to the room with the storage cube in it, then go through the orange portal to enter that room. You can then go over to the storage cube and pick it up.
