Where do I go from the end of this passage?
1 of 9: Look around for portal-friendly surfaces.
2 of 9: Don't forget to look up (sometimes way up) to find them. There are going to be a *lot* of areas throughout the rest of the game where spotting hard-to-see surfaces that you can place portals on will be essential to making progress.
3 of 9: In this case, you need to look up into a large side area that's near the end of the passage to find your high-up portal-able surfaces.
4 of 9: Fire an orange portal up there, then put a blue one on one of the passage's portal-friendly walls.
5 of 9: You can then go through the blue portal to get up into the large side area.
6 of 9: However, it doesn't connect to a new passage. You'll need to find another nearby place to portal to next.
7 of 9: Look across the passage you just left to find a large room full of twitching metal frames.
8 of 9: Its floor and back wall are portal-friendly, so use that fact to portal your way over there.
9 of 9: NOTE: You could shortcut your way into the room by firing an orange portal onto its ceiling from down in the passage. That allows you to bypass the big side area and get into the room a bit faster.
