Portal 2 Hints
How can I get from the second floor to the third floor?
1 of 9: Looking around on the second floor, you'll see that there's a small patch of portal-friendly flooring.
2 of 9: You can't see it from on the second floor, but the third floor also has a portal-friendly floor section.
3 of 9: You need to get up to where you can see the third floor's flooring so you can put a portal on it.
4 of 9: Put an orange portal on the second floor's portal-friendly section, then find a way to get yourself thrown up out of it.
5 of 9: Why not drop back down to the lowest floor and use the large hole in its center?
6 of 9: Look down from the edge of the hole and fire a blue portal onto the floor far below, then drop into it to be thrown up out of the orange portal.
7 of 9: Quickly move your view down and relocate the blue portal onto the third floor's portal-friendly section while you can see it.
8 of 9: Falling back down through the orange portal will then shoot you up onto the third floor.
9 of 9: ALTERNATIVE: Instead of relocating the blue portal to the third floor, you could relocate the orange portal. After you land, put a blue portal onto the second floor's portal-friendly section so you can move through it to get to the third floor.
