How can I get the cube that's up on a raised lift?
1 of 8: Notice that an orange portal is on the wall next to the other raised lift.
2 of 8: Your first task is to get onto that lift.
3 of 8: To do that, place a blue portal on any portal-friendly spot on the floor or a wall and go through it.
4 of 8: Now to get across to the lift with the cube.
5 of 8: Once again, remember that after you place a blue portal, a two-way connection is established.
6 of 8: So relocate the blue portal to the wall next to the lift with the cube, then go through the orange portal to reach it.
7 of 8: Now you can pick up the cube and drop it to the floor below, then drop down after it. (Or drop down while carrying it.)
8 of 8: ALTERNATIVE: Instead of dropping down to the floor to place the cube on a button, you could toss the cube onto the nearest button while staying on the platform. Pick up the cube, face the button, back up as far as you can without falling off the platform, then drop the cube while moving forward. If it lands on the button, you won't have to drop down to the floor to place it.
