Portal 2 Hints
How can I get all the way over to the exit door?
1 of 11: Since this is the advanced aerial faith plate chamber, you'll obviously be using some of those gimmicks.
2 of 11: There's a faith plate in the starting area, so step on it and see where it and the subsequent faith plates take you.
3 of 11: You'll end up landing on the higher of two slanty extended wall panels. Does that give you any ideas?
4 of 11: Portal flinging should come to mind.
5 of 11: If one portal side was on each of the two slanty extended wall panels, you'd be automatically portal-flung to another aerial faith plate and then to the platform with the exit door.
6 of 11: Since you have to start the sequence by using the starting area's faith plate, you'll need to get back there. Restoring a save you made there would be the fastest way.
7 of 11: If you can't do that, put an orange portal on the lower slanty wall panel, then turn to face the starting area. Some of its higher wall sections are portal-friendly, so put a blue portal on one of those, then hop into the orange portal.
8 of 11: Go down to the starting area's far end so that you can look across the chamber and see the two slanty extended wall panels.
9 of 11: Relocate the blue portal to the higher wall panel, then step on the starting faith plate to get yourself hurled all the way to the exit platform.
10 of 11: ALTERNATIVE: While in the area with the two extended wall panels, place an orange portal on the lower wall panel, then look across the chamber and place a blue portal on the white wall you can see below the exit platform. Hop into the orange portal to get taken to a ledge beneath the exit platform, then look up to see a portal-friendly wall section on the right side of the exit platform. Put a blue portal on it, then put an orange portal on a wall on your level so you can go through it.
11 of 11: There's also a secret area you can get to now, though you might want to wait until you get a special item later on, since visiting the secret area with it will get you an achievement.
