How can I get the Final Transmission achievement?

  • 1 of 6: You'll need the radio for this one.
  • 2 of 6: Before you hit the pedestal's button to release the garbage, relocate your portals so that both of the slanty extended wall panels are portal-free, then quicksave.
  • 3 of 6: After you hit the button, wait for all of the garbage to bounce over to the extended wall panels' ledge. Some of it will bounce into the toxic liquid, but the radio should end up on the ledge.
  • 4 of 6: Get over to the ledge by putting portals on the lower extended wall panel and the exit platform's portal-friendly wall section, then check to make sure the radio is there. If it's not, quickrestore and try again. If it is, pick it up and take it to the secret area.
  • 5 of 6: When you carry the radio into the secret area's main room, it'll stop playing its cliché Portal tune and start making weird noises.
  • 6 of 6: Soon after that happens, you'll get the Final Transmission achievement.
