How can I get the franken-turret down from its ledge?
1 of 9: Notice that there's a slanted portal-friendly surface directly across the chamber from the franken-turret's ledge. There's also an aerial faith plate that'll toss you onto that slanted surface.
2 of 9: To start with, get the idea that you need to use the faith plate out of your head. It's useful for something else, but not for getting to the franken-turret's ledge.
3 of 9: The slanted surface is useful, though. If you had a portal on it and a way to gain some serious momentum, you could fling yourself from it to the franken-turret's ledge.
4 of 9: Since you can't use the faith plate for your momentum, try using the excursion funnel.
5 of 9: Notice the portal-friendly floor section that's near the faith plate's slanted surface.
6 of 9: Remember how you portal-flung yourself to the exit ledge back in Test Chamber 05? Do the same sort of thing here.
7 of 9: Put an orange portal on the surface that the excursion funnel is hitting, then put a blue portal on the portal-friendly floor section.
8 of 9: Ride the extended funnel up to the top, then relocate the orange portal to the faith plate's slanted surface.
9 of 9: That'll get you onto the franken-turret's ledge, so pick it up and drop down to the floor.
