Portal 2 Hints
How can I get the exit door open?
of 10: Once you're on the moving platform with a redirection cube, look across the chamber to the exit door.
of 10: You'll see some blue dots leading from it to a laser receptacle.
of 10: There's no portal-friendly wall surface directly across from that receptacle, but note that it's at same level that the redirection cube is when it's setting on the platform.
of 10: So you'll apparently need to portal the laser beam over to the moving platform, then redirect it into the exit door's receptacle with the cube.
of 10: The only portal-friendly wall section that's on the same level as the platform is over to the left of the receptacle, which means that you'll have to move the platform over to the other side of the laser grill again.
of 10: Once the platform is completely past the laser grill, move the blue portal to the portal-friendly wall section that's directly across the chamber from it.
of 10: That should get the laser beam to fire across the platform. If it does so in an inconvenient spot, move the blue portal left or right a bit.
of 10: Pick up the redirection cube, then move it into the laser beam so you can redirect it back across the chamber.
of 10: TIP: Aim the beam at Wheatley's monitor until it cracks to get Smash TV achievement credit.
of 10: Aim the laser beam at the exit door's receptacle to open the exit door.
